Nevada Plumbers

Nevada is a land filled with hope and opportunity, as well as wide open spaces that are filled with ranch lands, wildlife, and natural wonders. Nevada offers a standard licensing package for plumbers within the state borders consisting of a journeyman license and a master license.

To qualify for the journeyman license, you must be able to show proof of four years of experience in the plumbing field with at least 8,000 hours of experience in that four years. This is demonstrated on an Affidavit of Experience, which is submitted with your proof of identity and testing fee of at least $125. If you are taking the test in person and less than eight applicants are in that class, then the fee is doubled to $250.

To qualify for the master license, you must have held your journeyman license for 2,000 hours and be in good standing.

License fees are $35 each and testing fees are $125 each and allows plumbers in both categories to work on most plumbing projects without restrictions. That's what it takes to become a licensed plumber in Nevada – are you up for the challenge?
